THE 76th EDITION

The Festival de Cannes will celebrates its 76th edition. The Cannes Film Festival will take place from Tuesday, May 16 to Saturdayday, May 27 at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes.

Swedish director Ruben Östlund  will be the President of the Jury.

Alongside the film festival, there is also the Cannes Film Market, which is the largest film market in the world.

It provides a platform for film industry professionals to network, buy and sell film rights, and discover new talent and projects. The market attracts producers, distributors, sales agents and financiers from around the world, making it an essential hub for the film industry.

The festival and the market take place in the city of Cannes, located on the French Riviera. The city transforms into a center of glitz and glamor during the event, with red carpets, luxury yachts and parties galore.

The festival is known for its strict dress code, with attendees required to dress in formal attire, adding to the air of elegance and sophistication.
