LIONS FESTIVAL
JUNE 17-21
The Lions festival is the international festival of creativity, this year it will take place from June 17th to 21th at the Palais des Festivals in Cannes for it’s 66 edition.
It is the meeting place for professionals in advertising and communication. This annual meeting allows you to develop your professional network, seize opportunities or conclude new transactions.
Lions History
Formerly known as the International Commercial Film Festival, the Lions was launched in Venice in 1954 by European producers of commercials.
Today the Lions Festival brings together more than 15,000 participants from 100 different countries.
During this festival the participants have the chance to attend conferences, workshops, seminars, events is a gain of knowledge and a source of creativity.
Awards
Each year, creative campaigns compete in different categories, as in 2018 each campaign is limited to 6 Lions. (Disciplines)
This year two new categories are open:
– Creative strategy lions
– Entertainment lions for sport
A competition is also dedicated to young talents under 30, a real opportunity for the professionals of tomorrow.
